Daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM that accommodates children from newborn to 3 years. This schedule balances structured activities with free play, meal times, and necessary rest periods, allowing flexibility to attend to each child’s individual needs.
9:00 AM – 9:30 AM: Arrival & Free Play
• Greet children and parents, help children settle in.
• Provide soft toys, blocks, and books for free play as everyone arrives.
9:30 AM – 10:00 AM: Circle Time (for toddlers and older infants)
• Sing songs, do finger plays, read a short story, and have simple discussions (e.g., talking about colors, shapes, weather).
• Younger infants can engage in tummy time or play with rattles or soft toys nearby.
10:00 AM – 10:30 AM: Snack Time
• Serve a nutritious snack.
• Encourage self-feeding for toddlers, while the caregiver helps infants with bottles or soft foods.
10:30 AM – 11:30 AM: Outdoor Play or Gross Motor Activities
• Take children outside (if possible) or provide indoor physical activities like rolling balls, dancing, or practicing walking for toddlers.
• For newborns, stroller time or safe floor play can work during this period.
11:30 AM – 12:00 PM: Learning and Sensory Play
• Activities can include simple arts and crafts (e.g., finger painting, playdough) for toddlers, sensory bins for exploring textures, or high-contrast toys for infants.
• Incorporate age-appropriate puzzles, stacking toys, or shape sorters for children working on fine motor skills.
12:00 PM – 12:30 PM: Lunch Time
• Provide a healthy lunch.
• Help children wash hands before and after eating; assist infants and younger toddlers with feeding.
12:30 PM – 2:30 PM: Nap Time / Quiet Time
• Set up mats, cribs, or quiet resting areas.
• For infants, follow individual nap schedules, rocking or soothing as needed.
• Toddlers can engage in quiet activities like looking at books if they do not sleep the entire time.
2:30 PM – 3:00 PM: Snack Time
• Provide a small, healthy snack to energize children after nap time.
• Encourage water or milk for hydration, with caregiver assistance.
3:00 PM – 3:30 PM: Storytime & Songs
• Gather children for a story or simple songs, allowing children to pick books or songs to promote engagement.
3:30 PM – 4:30 PM: Free Play & Exploration
• Offer a range of toys: blocks, dolls, cars, and sensory toys for infants.
• Rotate toys to keep children engaged and allow them to explore at their own pace.
4:30 PM – 5:00 PM: Clean-Up & Pick-Up Preparation
• Encourage children to help with simple clean-up tasks, teaching responsibility and teamwork.
• Engage in calm activities like looking at books or simple puzzles as children wait to be picked up.
